This really easy appetizer makes a lovely presentation. It goes great with a glass of red wine!

Ingredients

12 slices PC French Baguette , each ½ inch (1 cm) thick
1/4 cup (50 mL) PC MEMORIES OF Tuscany Balsamic Vinegar & Fig Sauce
Half 140 g pkg PC Soft Unripened Goat's Milk Cheese , crumbled
2 tsp (10 mL) fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread each baguette slice with 1 tsp (5 mL) Memories sauce and place on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle cheese evenly over baguette slices.
  3. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until cheese is softened. Sprinkle with thyme leaves and serve immediately.
