Easy as opening a can of custard! A great no-cook dessert for the dog days of summer.

Ingredients

1 can (400 g) PC Devon Custard
1 cup (250 mL) 10% cream
1/2 cup (125 mL) PC Blue Menu Twice The Fruit Spread - Strawberry
8 pieces PC Mini Chocolate Coated Cheesecakes , thawed

Instructions

  1. In bowl, whisk together Devon custard and cream. Place strawberry spread in glass measuring cup, cover with plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH for 30 to 40 seconds until spread is liquid but not boiling.
  2. Pour 1/3 cup (75 mL) custard mixture onto bottom of each of eight dessert bowls. Drizzle 1 tbsp (15 mL) warm strawberry spread onto custard. Place one mini cheesecake in centre of pool of custard. Garnish with fresh berries and mint, if desired.

Chef's Tips

If strawberry isn’t your favourite flavour, try another PC Blue Menu Spread, such as Apricot or Raspberry.
