Ingredients

1/4 cup (50 mL) PC MEMORIES OF Tuscany Balsamic Vinegar & Fig Sauce
1 pkg (568 g) PC Thick & Juicy Pork & Sautéed Onion Burgers
1 tbsp (15 mL) PC Splendido Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Cold Pressed
2 Golden Delicious apples, cored and sliced crosswise in 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick slices (skin on)
4 lettuce leaves, washed and dried

Instructions

  1. Preheat barbecue to medium.
  2. Place burgers on greased grill. Close lid. Cook for 12 to 14 minutes, turning once. Meanwhile, brush apple slices with oil. Place on grill with burgers; cook until grill-marked and tender, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  3. Line four plates with lettuce leaves. Place cooked burger on lettuce. Spoon 1 tbsp (15 mL) Memories sauce on each burger. Top with grilled apple slices.

Chef's Tips

Strip the leaves from bottom end of four rosemary sprigs, leaving top leaves on; use to skewer through apple slices and pork burger for a fancy presentation.
